Blissful Showers

(continued from the previous post dated 25th April '06)
The rains brought a song to the lips and a rainbow in the hearts.
They also helped open the floodgates of memories and each of us
gleefully soaked in the abundant joy, feeling freshened and
enlivened. There were occasional thunderclaps prompting us to
scurry for cover!

kband - Good morning. It's pouring out here n the streets will soon
get waterlogged. I have to leave rt now othrwise I'll definitely get
stranded. Faulty phone lines are yet to be rectified, and i thought
i'll catch a glimpse of ur charming persona before i leave. But no
such luck, hope tomorrow brings better tidings.
Lets hope for best, we've still got each other albeit in the minds.
Till then keep those flutters under control and take care. Bye

ash - The monsoon rains signify romantic freedom. For me, it’s a
period of catharsis and spiritual cleansing. The smell of the first
rains, the damp earth, the first step on a puddle, the sight of the
looming dark clouds...plush ! splash ! plush ! march on the earth
and water. hmmm …. thats what I wanna do specially reminds
me of Goa one place at its romantic best during monsoons. Ever
been there walking around with the drizzle tickling your back?
and the roar of the waves reverberating in your ears? And how
do u feel about making love in the rain?...now thts a song? never
heard ? Alrite Ill sing it fr u as much as I remember - )

Making love in the rain,
I cant believe the joy it brings me
And when I'm all alone,
I hear the rain on my window
It's just a little thing, but it means so much to me
Our bodies together, while the rain plays a melody
When it's stormy outside, it's calm in my heart,
with you in my arms
And when you're away from me,
I wish it would rain cause it's always the same
Every raindrop makes me think of you
Wishing you were close to me
There is nothing that I'd rather do

Whoaaa! now Im lost..Nature is very benevolent and we can take
as much as we want, especially if it is a pleasure. -:)
See u tomorrow, (I may get late, cant tell yet).

kband - when i said its raining misfortune, i didnt mean the
catastrophe that befell y'day, it certainly isnt that.
just referring to the serenity that occupies the frame of mind
when thoughts of yesteryears come flashin back....flood of
memories....suppressed foolish desires....missed opportunities.....
the pains, the pleasures - all rolled into the sub-conscious. dont
u want to relive all that? dont u want to pamper the child in u?
dont u want to see the glitter in all the treasures that are hidden
away in ur closet? that's why i tell u make an effort to indulge in
ur creative leanings, they never die. they provide the vehicle to
take u back in time, to where u really really belong - the silver
lining to our present existence beset with demands, needs,
worries.....
sorry abt y'day, just beyond my control. it can happen again, any
day keep ur spirits flyin though, i got high stakes built into the
longevity of our nascent association. cant let it be nipped in the
bud thru indiscretion, hope u'll u'stand.
bye n see u sometime later tonite.

ash - I almost forgot to thank you for this beautiful advice. Such a
lovely way to counsel, I see a friend in you. Ill sure save this
thought. lets see when I find time in my hands...talking abt
memories- they are so emotional. And it doesn’t matter how much
dust of time settles on them. Somehow the memories of a time so
beautifully spent haunts me in times of solitude.
